Positives:
I love the opening shot of my trailer, because the car lights makes the house look a little spooky.
I also like the shadowing of the girl on the door in the hallway.
Negatives:
The shots are all too dark.
It's more like a short film rather than a trailer.
Sounds need putting on.
Need to shoot in the day time and edit on the edit suite to make it look like the night time.
This is the first edit of the film trailer, as it is a teaser trailer it isn't as long as what a full trailer would be. I'm changing a few things about this film trailer. I need to change it so that it appears as if it were night time, however I may change the video to black and white, this is because it will match my website and my DVD cover. So far I am happy with the titles throughout the video, I got inspiration from watching other film trailers. I'm trying to tell the story throughout the trailer but not by giving it all away. As thriller film trailers are jumpy and fast, I've attempted to do this in my video. This video does not yet have the sound effects as I need to get them from the internet, to put onto a hard drive then to import on the editing suite to en-wind into my video sequence. I'm using sounds from a few different film trailer videos. I will also be using the sound of static from the Sinister trailer. I like the black shots which have writing on them that are advertising the film of when it's released in cinema and that you can buy it on DVD and Blue ray.

I need to change a few things on this as I have realised that I have put a DVD sign in the bottom left hand corner when its a poster for a film which is being advertised for the cinema release. I need to add a release date to this, I'm thinking of putting it where it says 'The ultimate collectors edition'. As that is something that would be on a DVD case not a advertising poster. I really like the colour scheme on this edit though because it has the conventions of a horror poster, black, red and white.

I really like my website because it looks dark and monstrous yet simple. I've carried on the colour scheme from the poster so that you can see they link. I've made sure that the title of the film is visible to the audience. Instead of just doing one page, I've chosen to do four, this is because I like to set myself a challenge, I thought just doing one page would be too easy and only take a short amount of time, so therefore I gave myself the task of doing four website pages. I used Wix.com to make my website.
Over a period of a few hours I took several images to put onto my website these were then used to put into the scroll bar which goes across the center of the website. These images may be changed within the next few days, depending on when my model returns from his holiday. However, I think he returns the last day of Easter, I have easy contact with my model, so I will be able to arrange for the first day back at college another short photo shoot. It will only take about an hour, maybe even less. I do have a fair range of photos but they are quite similar. I need a bigger range of different locations.
